If not, you will be in good hands regardless, we will for sure be booking with this company when we come back with our kids.

The duration of the sea trip is about 1h and 15′, which will pass by quickly leaving behind busy Athens and traveling to impressive blue Saronic waters.
Upon arrival to Aegina island, your driver will take the seaside route by the small fishing boats (Kaikia) and pass by the coastal traditional taverns of this part of Aegina.
The roads are flanked by small houses with gardens and large trees and we will find on your way many small churches on both sides of the road.
As the Monastery is only 6.8 km far from Aegina port, quite soon we arrive at this impressive Aegina landmark. The church of Agios Nektarios (Saint Nectarios) and the monastery of Agia Triada (The Holy Trinity) are considered very important pilgrimage and holy places in Greek Orthodox.
Yearly, thousands of people from all over the world are coming to Aegina to visit the tomb of Agios Nektarios for healing reasons, to pray to him, or ask for his blessings. At the Church, his skull is kept while close by you can see the house where Saint Nektarios used to live and his nearby grave.

Paleochora in Aegina is the downsized “Mystras of the Peloponnese”, a medieval town built 12 centuries ago and Aegina’s first formal capital town until the mid 19th century.
Paleochgora Aegina was built by the Aegineans to protect themselves from the Saracen pirates and was preserved for about a millennium. But after the pirates ceased to be an issue, the inhabitants began again to descend to the seaside areas and the Paleochora got deserted and gradually went to ruins.
Of the original 366 churches in Paleochora, today only 38 churches are still standing. The chapels have all their own Saint names and they are decorated with unique frescoes, like Agios Nikolaos (700 year-old frescoes), some with double or vaulted basilicas all uniquely stunning.
You will continue this exciting trip to Aegina history visiting the Temple of Aphaia, some 13 km far from Paleoochora. The Temple of Aphaia was built around 570 BC, is a very well-preserved and impressive Temple located on a hilltop in a pine grove.
The temple was dedicated to the goddess Aphaia, a mountain and hunting goddess.
The Temple of Aphaia forms part of what has been called the “Sacred Triangle of Temples,” along with the Parthenon in Athens and the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion. The equilateral triangle formed by these three ancient temples also has been termed “Antiquity’s Perfect Triangle.”
You can also visit the small museum with exhibits found at the excavations around the Temple.
The next stop is one of the most beautiful beaches of Aegina, the beach of Agia Marina.
Agia Marina is the longest sandy beach on
Aegina island, with crystal clear blue waters. It is awarded a Blue Flag. Agia Marina is a popular holiday village with a Greek atmosphere as lots of Greeks are spending their weekends & holidays at their holiday homes.
The beach offers a great variety of fish taverns with fresh seafood and fish.
After your lunch, your driver will bring you back to the scenic Aegina town where you will have some free time to wander the white houses and the buzz of the street vendors before we get aboard and return to Athens. Your driver will drop you off at your desired hotel or another place.
